I got so angry for you reading your post. This is shocking and at a time when you are struggling to get by let alone have to be pushing the medical profession for the treatment you need. Can you get your GP to fight your corner for you?

Latest installment.
I rang the hospital again and spoke to the girl who was dealing with my consultants
waiting list.
I go for my pre-admission assessment on 5th May and my operation to put pin back
will be 20th May. So I am feeling a bit better now that I have these dates. She told me
that my consultant has a waiting list of over five months ahead.

Marlene, I'm so very sorry to read all this stuff, how dreadful! Hi all Just to up date you on my operation. The date 0f 20th May was cancelled due to the rep whose company supplies the metal work for my ankle was on holiday!!! After ringing the hospital few times, I got a letter this morning informing me that the op will now take place on 3rd June. Hope you are all enjoying this lovely sunshine. Love Marlene xx
